While somewhat of an odd celebrity-fashion designer pairing (who knew that Pamela was a fashion week groupie?), reports have it that Pamela Anderson will be modeling on the Vivienne Westwood runway at the upcoming Paris Fashion Week. Vivienne Westwood’s Fall/Winter fashion show is on Friday, March 6, 2009.
The former Baywatch star and the Dame of the British Empire (and of fashion) met at last year’s Vivienne Westwood Red Label Spring/Summer 2009 show at London Fashion Week and hit it off. So much so that Pamela has recently been featured as the face of Westwood’s Spring/Summer 2009 ad campaign, after reportedly signing a six-figure deal. The ads, photographed by Juergen Teller at her trailer in Malibu, California, do not disappoint.
This won’t be Pamela Anderson’s first trip down the fashion week runway: she also recently modeled for the Richie Rich catwalk show on February 18, 2009 at New York Fashion Week. Donning nothing but a slinky gold leotard and black strappy heels and showing off her body as only Pamela Anderson can, she was the surprise modeling appearance at Rich’s “Blondes Have More Fun”-themed fashion show.
