London Fashion Week for Fall/Winter 2009 Collections will be held in London, England from February 20 to February 24, 2009.
Taking up his traditional opening spot for the week is Paul Costelloe, who will get the fashionable proceedings underway on Friday 20, followed by red carpet queen Jenny Packham and the fresh and innovative offerings of the Central Saint Martins later in the day.
Graeme Black and Charles Anastase, who wowed us with collections inspired by the seascapes of Scotland’s Western Isles and Degas ballerinas respectively, will lead the way on Saturday with Peter Jensen, Nathan Jenden and Vivienne Westwood Red Label among the headliners of the evening.
Following their beautifully bright spring/summer 2009 collections, expect a scrum at Richard Nicoll and Christopher Kane who, up on Sunday, are followed by a new addition to the schedule – a presentation from Sienna and Savannah Miller’s Twenty8Twelve fashion label.
Shows from Luella, Roksanda Ilincic, Giles and British Fashion Award winner (for Swarovski’s Emerging Talent Award) Louise Goldin will make for a busy Monday, while House of Holland, Peter Pilotto and Bora Aksu will bring the week to a close.
