Los Angeles Fashion Week for the Spring 2007 Collection will be held from Friday, October 13, 2006 to Friday, October 20, 2006.
Los Angeles Fashion Week will start off this season with Gen Art’s Fresh Faces in Fashion, and will then jump into collections from Los Angeles’ top fashion designers. Mercedes Benz Fashion Week at Smashbox Studios revs up on Sunday the 15th, with nearly 40 designers commanding a turn on the catwalk to show Spring ‘07 collections hundreds of editors, stylists, retailers, and top clients in attendance. The ultimate Fashion Week wrap party takes place on Friday, October 20 with the LA Fashion Awards — held at the Orpheum Theatre — where everyone comes together to honor Los Angeles’ top fashion designers, retailers, and innovators — all of whom put California fashion and style on the global map. The largest single event of LA Fashion Week in downtown LA and the ultimate fashion week wrap party. Sixteen Southern California fashion leaders will be recognized, with seven taking home the “Caleb;†the coveted handcrafted artisan glass award.
